Misread
Check it out I just posted a recording I did at a recent show of the song "Misread" by Kings of Convenience. I used my new loop pedal to overdub the tracks while I performed.
You can download the audio for free at my official homepage: www.tommooremusic.com
Just find my audio postings and click on mp3 and you can download it straight to your computer.

Blue Monk
If you have known me for any length of time, you have heard me play this arrangement of Blue Monk by Thelonious Monk. It has become a bit of a habitual thing that I do whenever I pick up a guitar.
I originally performed Blue Monk as a recital piece when I was at school for Jazz. My private guitar instructor wrote this arrangement. I love Jazz chord melody style guitar. One day I will get back to learning some other jazz standards.
But until then, for all of you that aren't already completely nauseated by my rendition of this tune: enjoy.

Blackbird
I recorded this in my bathroom a few months ago. I borrowed a friend's four track and sat on the "Jon". It was the only place in the house where I could get away from the road noise.
Anyway, this is one of my favorite Beatles songs....from the The White Album.
Interestingly enough the Beatles recorded all of their albums on four track up until the aforementioned. I'm so behind the times!

Fleet Foxes
I'm impressed. The ending of the song Mykonos almost sounds like Crosby, Stills, and Nash. But give it a listen. I think all our retro fans out there will enjoy it.

Mr. Gowrie
This song is amazing. Unlike anything that I've heard before. Charles Spearin uses the tones of an interview conversation to create an ambient melody loaded with reverb and delay.

Show at Bistro on Park Ave
Thanks to all of you that came out to my show at the Bistro on Park Ave. It was a very nice atmosphere.
The real reason for this post right now is to fill up my new site a bit. I'm trying this one out. To see if everyone likes it. But, of course, I haven't told anyone about it yet.....so I'm really just talking to myself.
Oh well, more later
